Sliding Doors

Cavity Slider

A cavity slider is a sliding door housed in a ‘pocket’ that is hidden in the wall creating a space-saving and stylish alternative to a prehung door.

We have our own designed and manufactured cavity slider system and we also source cavity sliders from suppliers such as C S for Doors and Cowdroy Products.

As with our prehung doors, all cavity slider doors are available in our full range of styles and constructions.

Door sliding systems provide numerous residential and commercial applications.

J & G Doors can supply and manufacture specialist options including:

  • face sliding doors
  • overtaking and stacking units
  • frameless glass and aluminium units
  • over-size, over-width units
  • wardrobes
  • bi-folding doors

Please contact our expert team to discuss what you need today including our full complement of hardware to go with your door systems.

  • Track is fixed onto the wall
  • Door slides across the wall surface

  • visible track with a ‘pelmet’ which is a cover which hides the wheels and workings of the sliding track
  • generally used where a cavity slider is not suitable OR where the door is wanted to be featured
  • most door styles can be used with surface sliding track systems
